Welcome to the new APCG web site! If you’re a member of the APCG we appreciate your participation and continued support and we hope this site will keep you informed of the many activities of the APCG on a year-round basis. If you are new to APCG or Cherry Grove we hope this web site provides you the opportunity to learn about our community and our organization to take advantage of APCG events when you are in town. Join us on a tour of the new web site.

The website tour starts at our Home Page. Each time the Home Page is refreshed, photos from various APCG and community activities are randomly displayed. The next three upcoming events scheduled on the current season’s calendar are dynamically showcased on the Home Page. Clicking an Event provides additional event information as defined in the event showcase below. The Home Page also features News articles relevant to APCG and the community, often sourced through the courtesy of FireIslandQNews. The Current Sayville Weather along with links to the websites of the Sayville Ferry, the Long Island Railroad are posted on the website for your convenience. Direct links to the Cherry Grove Community Association (CGCAI), the Cherry Grove Fire Department (CGFD)  and the Fire Island National Seashore are also provided. Other links of interest may be found by clicking “Additional Links” in the lower right hand corner of the Home Page.

The "Cherry Grove Boards" are used to navigate through the website. Clicking on the “Home” board or the APCG logo returns you to the Home Page from any point in the website.

The “Calendar” board brings you to a monthly view of the current season’s calendar. It defaults to the current month. You may navigate through the calendar by selecting the previous or next month link. The default view of the calendar is a “Highlights View” which displays all scheduled events. If you click “Show Entire Schedule” the calendar will be expanded to show all activities at the community house including ticket sales for events, rehearsals for shows etc. Drill into any activity on the calendar to obtain detail information for the activity.

The “Event” board brings you to an Event Showcase Page displaying all the main APCG sponsored events in the current season. Clicking an Event expands the event summary to include an event  synopsis, ticket sale information, event credits, reception information and photos (as available for that event).

The "Photo Albums" board brings you to a list of photo albums available on the site.  The Album list defaults to the current season.  You may optionally view photo albums from prior seasons as available, by clicking the prior year. The Album List displays the name of the photo album and the number of photos in each album.  Clicking the Album Name displays the a thumbnail view of the photos in the album. Select any photo in the album and a standard size of the photo is displayed with a description and a photographer credit.  You may click "previous" and "next" to navigate through the photos in the album or return to the album list.

The "About Us" board provides a brief history of the APCG and list of the current board of directors.

The "Join Us" board summarizes Arts Project membership benefits and provides the ability to download the APCG membership application with instructions for how to join.

The "Contact Us" board provides instructions for e-mailing or writing to the Arts Project Board

The "Cherry Grove" board provides a brief description of the beautiful Cherry Grove Community

The "Maps" board currently displays a walk map of Cherry Grove

We will do our best to keep the information on this web site fresh and up to date. Members who have supplied us with their e-mail address will receive notices of upcoming events and changes to our site. Your feedback, ideas and photos will help us achieve this goal.
