FOUNDED IN 1948, the Arts Project of Cherry Grove/APCG is a 501(c) 3 non-profit community service organization dedicated to providing an environment where art, in its many forms, can be created, developed, exhibited, and preserved. The APCG reflects Cherry Grove's longtime appeal to creative people, recognizing that some have come for solitude, while others delight in its unique convergence of creative energies. The APCG provides something for everyone. The APCG serves the social and cultural interests of the community hosting many special fund-raising events such as: classical recitals, an art show, several stage shows, bingo, flea market, casino weekend, the season-opening Homecoming Party, and the season-closing annual Ball. The APCG contributes to the Cherry Grove Community Association, Inc., Dunes Fund, Memorial Fund, Volunteer Fire Department, Doctor's Fund, and other organizations in need of financial support. |
